Tilery Privacy Policy

Tilery ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Tilery handles information when you use the app.

Information We Collect

Tilery does not require you to create an account.

The app may collect limited data through third-party advertising, analytics and measurement services used to operate and improve the app. These services may collect device-related information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and performance data, subject to their own policies and your device permissions.

Your username, game progress, scores, coins, rank, achievements and settings are stored on your device and backed up to our Supabase service. Public leaderboard entries include your chosen username, rank and scores. A random player identifier links your own entries; it is not a hardware or advertising identifier.

Progress Recovery

Tilery creates a private, random recovery code without requiring email, password or social sign-in. The backup database stores a cryptographic hash of this code; the code itself is sent over HTTPS to authorize backup and restore requests. Anyone who possesses the code can access that player’s backup, so keep it private.

On iOS, the credential is retained in Keychain where available. On Android, app-private storage may be restored by the operating system’s backup service, depending on your settings. These mechanisms do not guarantee recovery after every reinstall or device reset. A recovery code saved outside the app can restore a cloud backup on either platform. Recovery credentials are not used for advertising.

Advertising

Tilery uses Google AdMob to display interstitial, rewarded, and rewarded interstitial ads.

Rewarded formats are optional. You choose whether to watch one in exchange for an in-app reward, and declining does not restrict gameplay.

On iOS, the app may request permission to track your activity across apps and websites using Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you deny permission, the app will continue to work.

Analytics

Tilery uses Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate gameplay and monetization behaviour, such as which modes are played and how sessions progress. This is used in aggregate to improve the app.

Attribution Measurement

Tilery uses Singular to measure installs, app sessions and gameplay events, such as starting and completing a puzzle. Singular may process device and app identifiers, IP address and event data. Custom gameplay events do not include your chosen username or private recovery code. Clipboard attribution is disabled, and partner data sharing is limited. Advertising identifier access follows the app’s platform privacy controls. Attribution identifiers are separate from progress recovery. Singular is configured to share eligible install attribution data with AppLovin to measure advertising campaigns, subject to applicable consent and privacy settings.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information directly. Data may be shared with service providers that help operate the app, such as advertising and analytics providers, according to their own privacy practices.

Data Retention

Cloud progress is retained so it can be recovered after deleting or reinstalling Tilery. Deleting the app does not delete its cloud backup. The service keeps the latest backup and one previous version. Contact us about deletion requests. Other data processed by third-party providers is retained according to those providers' policies.

Children's Privacy

Tilery is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app or a third-party service used by the app, contact us and we will review the request.
